I am Danelle Pretasky, owner and photographer of Willow & Bud. Pictured here with me is my whole heart and inspiration, Willow (my daughter) and Walker, or as I call him, Bud (my son). I am a resident of the beautiful town of Tomahawk, Wisconsin. But have only called it home for the past 13 years. My heart and soul have always been most happy and content in nature. I grew up vacationing here at our cabin and camping the Willow Flowage (hense my daughters name) and feel blessed to now call 'here,' home.

 

When I don't have the camera on me, you will see me with my family on some new adventure: fishing, camping, hiking, exploring, traveling. In the summer I also love to spend time in the garden. The moments I get to relax, you will see me with a glass of wine around a campfire or having lemonade on the deck admiring the humming birds and peace and quite. 

 

I love natural lifestyle photography with a storytelling approach to my shoots. My style is bold, moody and romantic. I find my style leans more towards catching moments during your session, instead of posing you. My sessions are playful and fun, instead of uptight and too posey (if you know what i mean:). I truly look forward to working with you to capture some of your life's special moments!
